Our Success Stories!!!

Maverick--a Beagle stolen from his yard. The "thieves" did not realize he was microchipped, so when Maverick was turned into the shelter TWO YEARS LATER we were able to do some digging and track down his owner, an Air Force pilot--in ITALY!!!

Taz--a 13-year-old Lhasa Apso--gone for SEVEN months!

Austin--a 19-year-old poodle!! Picked up by the local police just a few houses down from his home, but taken to the county shelter, 15 miles away. We were very happy to get this senior man home!

Lowey--a 17-year-old Maltese/Poodle missing for two months!

Max--a 12-year-old Bichon Frise. His parents were looking at the wrong shelter. They were checking the Humane Society every day, but poor Max was waiting patiently at the county shelter.

Oreo--a young female Boston Terrier gone three weeks. Her parents had just moved from California and had not updated her tags, but we were able to connect her to the people who found her and were taking care of her.

Dellie--an 8-month-old Bichon found just in the nick of time! He was at the county shelter and was due to go up for adoption that morning. Many people showed up to adopt him, but we were able to contact his owners just in the nick of time!

Taffy--a 13-year-old Cocka-poo. Her parents went to the nearest shelter, but she was waiting at the county shelter!

Max--a 16 year old poodle. Max was wearing tags when he escaped, but the people who found him removed them, had him groomed, and intended on keeping him. When Max was turned into the county shelter shortly thereafter, we contact his grateful owners who picked him up, then went home to repair the hole in their fence!

Emily--a 7-year-old mixed breed. Emily got out while her owners were out of town. When being informed that his dog was sitting in the shelter, her owner flew back on a private plane to bring her home!

Duke and Marla--two Rottweilers whose owners recently moved to Arizona and had no idea where to look for their beloved pets.

Rocky--a year old boxer. His owners live in north Scottsdale and didn't’t realize he would be taken all the way to Mesa!

These are just a few of our success stories. Just this past year we have helped over 200 animals get back home. We hope to double that this year!
