Daily Shelter Checks
With limited shelter hours--11am to 5pm, it is often difficult, if not impossible, for working people to check the shelters on a regular basis. Some people will think that checking the shelters on the weekend is okay. The big problem with this is: STRAY ANIMALS WITHOUT IDENTIFICATION ARE ONLY HELD FOR THREE DAYS BEFORE BEING PLACED UP FOR ADOPTION OR EUTHANIZED. This means if an animal is turned in on a Monday evening, the animal will sit in the shelter Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and will then be placed up for adoption on Friday. By the time you make it down to the shelter, your pet could be long gone--enjoying life in it’s new home.
Imagine having a set of eyes EVERY DAY at all 4 shelters. Send us a complete description of your animal, including where the animal was lost, where it was last seen, and a photo. We will put the animal into our database and your shelter checks are a done deal. In addition, we will post your lost pet posters at the shelters and update them weekly with any new information. This also ensures that your animal will get home SOONER. Being in a shelter is VERY STRESSFUL for the animal, so getting the animal home as soon as possible is much better!
We will also register your lost pet with multiple online registries and update them weekly.

Veterinarian and Groomer Lists
Often when people find a pet they will take it to the nearest veterinary hospital. They will then scan the animal for a microchip, but if one is not found the finder will either take the animal to the shelter, or keep the animal. Having a lost pet flyer in the office dramatically increases the chance that the finder will return your dog.
Groomer lists are also very helpful. People will bring an animal to a grooming facility to see if they recognize it. Once again, having your flyer in their facility could mean the difference between the finder calling you and returning your animal, or taking it to the animal shelter.
